Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Mayfair, London – Up to £47,000 + Package

Exciting opportunity to join a growing FM service provider based at two prestigious commercial office buildings in Mayfair, Central London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in a static, single‑person site role, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience working independently on site. Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 am – 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems
  • Electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
  • Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing/compliance checks
  • AHU & FCU maintenance including filter changes and cleaning
  • Carry out basic chiller resets and HVAC support tasks
  • Monitor and maintain pumps and motors
  • Carry out water treatment tasks including temperature monitoring
  • Complete minor plumbing repairs including taps, seals, and unblocking drains
  • Monitor BMS systems and carry out temperature/system checks
  • UPS monitoring and routine inspections
  • General building fabric and handyman maintenance
  • Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
  • Ensure all compliance records and logbooks are updated correctly
  • Maintain a professional and client‑facing approach at all times

Package:

  • Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum
  • Call‑Out Allowance: £100 per week standby
  • Overtime available (particularly weekends)

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Strong background in commercial M&E/building services maintenance
  • Experience managing a site independently is highly desirable
  • Multi‑skilled across electrical, mechanical, and general building services
  • Strong communication and client‑facing skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and self‑motivated
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
