Location: Central Belt of Scotland between Edinburgh and Glasgow

Salary: Basic up to £48,236 plus Car Allowance and a Full Benefits Package

Shift: Days, Monday – Friday, Flexible Working Hours

Job Role

A standout opportunity has become available for an Electrical Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to prolong the life and safety of electrical equipment by spotting any potential defects early and ensuring everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality assessments and inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment.
• Carry out detailed reporting and ensure customers are compliant with UK regulations.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering based qualification.
• Experience working within hazardous environments (COMPEX).
• Significant practical experience as a domestic or industrial electrician.

Requirements

• Strong electrical background with testing and inspection experience.
• Electrical Engineering qualifications.
• Ability to communicate complex and technical problems.
• Desirable to live around the Central Belt of Scotland with an easy commute to Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Desirable Requirements

• NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
