Flourish Education are recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join a well-established and welcoming secondary school in Bromsgrove from September 2026 until December 2026. Our partnership school is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Humanities Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be confident teaching Humanities subjects, including History, Geography and/or Religious Studies, depending on the school’s timetable requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated department and make a positive impact within a diverse and ambitious school community.

You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking, as well as attending parents’ evenings and completing report writing for KS3 and KS4 students.

Required Skills and Experience as a Humanities Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Humanities within a Secondary School
  • Ability to teach Humanities subjects across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Proven ability with good behaviour management
  • A commitment to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment

  • Pay from £168.00 – £261.78 per day, which equates to £32,916 to £51,048 based on working five days a week for a full school year (dependent on experience)
