About the Role

As a Sales Executive at Places for People, you will take full ownership of the sales journey on your development(s) – from first enquiry through to reservation, legal progression and successful handover. You will work on a 35‑hour week, five days out of seven, with a Thursday to Monday schedule (Thursday 12:00pm – 7:00pm; Friday to Monday 10:00am – 5:00pm) and be based at the Gillingham site (SP8 4GG).

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate and convert leads into reservations and completed sales.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline and accurately forecast performance.
  • Deliver exceptional on‑site and appointment‑based customer viewings.
  • Negotiate confidently while maintaining a high‑quality customer experience.
  • Build strong relationships with buyers, solicitors and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the brand professionally and drive site‑specific sales strategies.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider team, with clear targets and autonomy to manage your patch like your own business.

About You

  • Experience in new homes, property or estate agency sales.
  • A strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Confidence conducting face‑to‑face viewings and progressing buyers to reservation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple buyers and deadlines at once.
  • A customer‑focused mindset, balancing commercial outcomes with service quality.
  • Experience in shared ownership and/or open market housing is preferable.
  • Competitive, proactive and motivated by success, while caring about doing the right thing for customers and communities.
