About the role

Our client is seeking a commercially driven Growth Accelerator Manager to lead business development activity across their social enterprise division. Based in Aylesford, this is a hands‑on role focused on generating new opportunities, building strategic relationships and converting leads into measurable growth. You will also manage two Business Development Executives, ensuring a consistent and high‑performing pipeline.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across services
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and prospects
  • Lead outreach, networking, events and client meetings
  • Manage and support 2 Business Development Executives
  • Drive consistent CRM and lead management processes
  • Monitor pipeline performance and conversion rates
  • Support bids, tenders and strategic submissions
  • Conduct market, sector and competitor research
  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns
  • Contribute to growth strategy and partnership development

About you (requirements)

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or commercial roles
  • Strong understanding of marketing and lead generation
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in social value/ESG or relevant sectors (desirable)
  • Background in construction, manufacturing or infrastructure (desirable)
