About the role
Our client is seeking a commercially driven Growth Accelerator Manager to lead business development activity across their social enterprise division. Based in Aylesford, this is a hands‑on role focused on generating new opportunities, building strategic relationships and converting leads into measurable growth. You will also manage two Business Development Executives, ensuring a consistent and high‑performing pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across services
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and prospects
- Lead outreach, networking, events and client meetings
- Manage and support 2 Business Development Executives
- Drive consistent CRM and lead management processes
- Monitor pipeline performance and conversion rates
- Support bids, tenders and strategic submissions
- Conduct market, sector and competitor research
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns
- Contribute to growth strategy and partnership development
About you (requirements)
- Proven experience in sales, business development or commercial roles
- Strong understanding of marketing and lead generation
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in social value/ESG or relevant sectors (desirable)
- Background in construction, manufacturing or infrastructure (desirable)
