Job Overview

This is a new and exciting post available within the Children’s Community Nursing team. The post holder will be expected to work with the Clinical Lead and Team Leader for Children’s Community Nursing Team, to ensure safe and effective care delivery for the service users. This post will enable an individual to gain experience and insight in leadership skills.

The CCN team supports children in Birmingham with clinical and complex health needs. These needs are supported by our team and allow children to be cared for and have their treatment at home or in a community setting.

The post holder will work with the caseload managers to ensure the day-to-day visits are allocated and delivered and will offer support, advice and guidance to the wider team, colleagues in health, education and social care and families.

You will be offered opportunities to develop both clinically and professionally within a supportive environment and encouraged to participate in service developments. Formal clinical supervision and a supported induction period are provided.
