Highway Project Manager

Job Overview

Duration: 9-12 months. Pay rate: £400 per day. Umbrella supply margin 10%.

Working days: Up to 3 days per week office based, 2 days per week remote. Visits to site required to agree extents / mark up.

Key Responsibilities and Experience

• Working for a local authority.
• Varied PM experience across highway maintenance and associated infrastructure projects.
• Design experience & knowledge.
• Development & delivery of highway maintenance and associated infrastructure projects.
• Stakeholder management & engagement including elected members and parishes.
• Experience managing contractors and holding them to account.
• Experience working in Cambridgeshire (desired).
• Experience managing high volume programmes of work to tight deadlines.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience working in Highway Maintenance.
