Quality Assurance- Backshift

Albert Bartlett is looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to join our team for the Backshift. As a key member of our quality management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your efforts will contribute directly to our mission of providing top-quality potato products that our customers can trust.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality assessments of products and processes throughout the backshift
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company quality standards
• Lead and train the quality assurance team, providing necessary support and mentoring
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues in real-time and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and reports for management review
• Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place
• Encourage continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance department
• Working hours: Monday-Friday 15:30-00:00
• Rate of pay: £13.17/hour plus shift allowance

Requirements

• Previous experience in quality assurance within a food production environment is preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety protocols and quality management systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
• Ability to work effectively during backshift hours and be responsive to operational needs
