Role Description

The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Croughton, responsible for overseeing maintenance and facilities management projects from initiation through completion. This role involves planning project scopes, schedules, and resources, coordinating with expeditors, logistics teams, and inspection personnel to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. The Project Manager will manage budgets, track progress, mitigate risks, and prepare regular status reports for internal stakeholders and client representatives. Daily tasks include leading project meetings, coordinating contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements, and resolving operational issues to keep projects on schedule and within scope. The role also requires building strong working relationships across the site and supporting continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience with expediting and expeditor activities to ensure materials, services, and approvals are obtained on time.
  • Knowledge of inspection processes and quality assurance to verify work completion and compliance with standards.
  • Background in logistics management, including coordination of materials, suppliers, and site operations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to work on-site in a structured, safety-focused environment; experience in facilities or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as a degree in engineering, construction, facilities management, or a related field, and/or recognized project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI) are beneficial.
