Governance Oversight Analytics Manager, based in our London office on a permanent basis.
What is the opportunity?
You’ll strengthen first‑line compliance monitoring across Wealth Management Europe, focusing on proactive risk analysis, desk‑based monitoring, and control assessments of RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Front Office client advice and trading activities. You will utilise key control metrics and business MI to identify risk and recommend proportionate remediation, including the provision of training requirements or process and control improvements. This role requires 4 days per week in the office in London.
What will you do?
- Support the activities of the Wealth Advice and Governance department and champion the embedding of a data‐awareness culture throughout the business.
- Take ownership of delivering reporting for the function, contributing to regular reports and MI on operational activity, findings, trends and any regulatory issues.
- Identify improvements and enhancements to existing PowerBI dashboards, and team dashboards, including adapting and developing this to meet changing requirements.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of data in line with policies and procedures as required.
- Complete individual reviews and deep‑drive monitoring tasks as allocated, identifying findings, breaches or issues and escalating these as appropriate.
- Perform trend analysis to identify themes or issues to be investigated further using business dashboards and data.
- Test and refine control frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with managers to develop new monitoring reports and support monitoring activities on a monthly basis.
What do you need to succeed?
Must‑have
- Demonstrable experience supporting Front Office activities within wealth management or banking.
- Ability to interpret regulation and recommend suitable, proportionate processes and controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with management information reporting tools.
- Experience with PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools.
- Ability to integrate AI into the function to add efficiency and productivity.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Nice‑to‑have
- Risk or compliance certification.
- Relevant industry qualifications such as Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice, Financial Planning, Compliance or Risk.
