About the Role

Are you ready to guide a major change that will shape how we work across the whole organisation?

Which? is looking for an IT Transformation Manager to help us move from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. This is a 9‑month fixed term contract where you’ll bring people together across teams and suppliers to make this change happen smoothly.

You’ll be the main technical contact for this Transformation, working alongside skilled colleagues and partners. While the project sponsor looks after overall success, you’ll focus on all the technical parts.

You’ll build trusted relationships with suppliers, colleagues across IT, and work closely with change and project managers. Your role is to lead the delivery of all the technical work required to ensure the smooth migration to Microsoft 365, bringing your experience to identify solutions and keep the project on track. You will make sure everyone knows what’s happening technically, what risks we face, and how we are doing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of technical work required to support the move from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, making sure it is done well and causes minimal disruption.
  • Work with suppliers, IT teams, and change and project managers to keep everyone updated on technical needs, risks and progress.
  • Oversee how Microsoft 365 is set up, making sure it meets our policies, standards and stays secure.
  • Spot technical risks early and share them with the project manager and team.
  • Help colleagues get ready for the change and support users when they need it.

About You

  • You have strong experience guiding large IT changes at enterprise level.
  • You’ve worked successfully with suppliers and teams across different areas.
  • You know Microsoft 365 well and understand how to set it up for large organisations.
  • You’re organised and can explain technical ideas clearly to people who aren’t technical.
  • You build good relationships and can bring people together to achieve shared goals.
  • For a full list of essential requirements, please refer to the role profile.

Interview Process

  • 1st stage – Virtual meeting with the Head of PMO and Head of IT & Corporate Systems.
  • 2nd stage – Virtual meeting with the Chief Product & Technology Officer.

Benefits

  • 35 hour working week.
  • Generous 28 days holiday a year plus bank holidays and the option to buy additional holiday days.
  • Excellent pension scheme – when you pay in 3%, Which? pays in 6% of your salary.
  • A discretionary death in service benefit provision equivalent to six times your annual salary.
  • Free access to Which? member content and free access to Which? money & legal helplines.
  • Free wills for all Which? employees; partners of employees can make their will at cost price.
  • Work from anywhere for 4 weeks a year policy.
  • A great work‑life balance (all our roles are now hybrid), offering flexible working options such as part time or job shares where possible.
