Customer Service Specialist – German or French speaking
Location and Working Arrangement
Amersham – hybrid working (3 days per week onsite)
Contract Details
12‑month contract, £15.59 per hour (37.5 hours per week, PAYE)
Preferred Candidate
Bilingual in English and German or French.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective communication with Regional Service Managers, Field Service Engineers, Service Sales, Finance, and Sales teams.
- Open service requests and dispatch corrective repairs/preventative maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Invoice service interventions.
- Handle disputes.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and follow up.
- Support physical inventory.
- Activate contracts within in‑house systems.
- Work as part of a team and adopt a flexible approach to maintain and improve the quality of service.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Build close relationships with customers and commercial partners, responding to queries promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information and knowledge to customers.
- Execute responsibilities in accordance with agreed SLAs and SOPs.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Written and oral fluency in English; additional European language (Spanish, Italian, French) preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, initiative, pro‑active and attention to detail.
- Competent MS Office skills; comfortable working with various systems.
- Previous client and customer service experience.
- Ability to thrive in a busy customer‑service environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team.
