Job Description:

Bloomice is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Internal Business Development Executive to support our continued growth across Smart Utilities, Industrial IoT, Transportation, Security, and Connected Infrastructure markets, to be based at our UK Head Office in Bedfordshire.

This is primarily an office based role focused on developing customer relationships, generating sales opportunities, and taking responsibility for growing sales to your customer base.

It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys engaging with customers by telephone, email, LinkedIn, and online meetings, rather than being exclusively field-based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconnect with dormant and underdeveloped customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities, locally and in the export markets.
  • Follow up enquiries, quotations, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Maintain regular customer contact to ensure Bloomice remains a trusted and valued partner.
  • Work closely with our engineering and commercial teams to support customer requirements.
  • Manage customer activity, opportunities, and pipeline information within the CRM system.
  • Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and business development initiatives.

About You

  • Experience in internal sales, business development, account management, customer service, or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple customer relationships.
  • Confident using Microsoft 365, CRM systems, LinkedIn, and digital communication tools.
  • Experience within RF, wireless communications, telecommunications, electronics, industrial technology, or IoT sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
