Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an Accomplished Project Manager to join our dynamic and forward‑thinking manufacturing team. The role involves delivering complex manufacturing projects within the Industrial Transfer Team, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the UK and internationally, and implementing change within the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fixed‑cost programmes within a matrix organisation.
• Operate effectively in cross‑functional environments, interfacing and influencing customers, suppliers and senior management.
• Manage project scope, identify deviations, negotiate changes and assess the impact on cost, schedule and quality.
• Identify risks and opportunity trends in cost, schedule and quality data, formulate mitigation plans and deliver opportunities.
• Prioritise objectives and manage day‑to‑day tactical actions.
• Construct and maintain project plans using Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Compile bid and estimates based on previous products or new product definitions in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
• Act as the main point of contact for Industrial Transfer projects and interface with Manufacturing Industrial Transfer Engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering fixed‑cost programmes.
• Experience managing projects in a matrix or cross‑functional environment.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on scope, risk, schedule and cost.
• Proficiency with project planning software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Preferable: experience within an engineering or production environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience.
• Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance).
