Warehouse Shift Manager – Nights

Overview

Following substantial investment at our Gist site in Barnsley and an exciting phase of growth, we are looking for a Night Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Barnsley. In this role, you will take full responsibility for leading a fast‑paced warehouse operation, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate delivery of all shift activity while maintaining high service levels.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse leadership role within FMCG or distribution
• Proven ability to manage large teams in a fast‑paced environment
• Proven experience managing teams within a unionised environment, with an understanding of employee relations and engagement
• Strong operational knowledge of warehouse/dispatch processes
• Track record of delivering KPIs and improving performance
• Confident leader with strong decision‑making skills
