Digital Learning Resource Designer
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£25,255 – £27,373 per annum
We have an excellent opportunity for a Digital Learning Resource Designer to join City College Norwich within our IT Services team. Working closely with the Technology Enhanced Learning team and curriculum areas, you will design, develop and support accessible, high-quality digital resources and learning materials that enhance teaching, build digital skills and support effective curriculum delivery across the College.
You should have experience of creating engaging content using digital design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and other audio and visual software. With good literacy, visual design skills and an eye for detail, you will be confident producing clear, professional materials across a range of formats, from interactive resources and video to guides and structured learning content. Strong communication skills and a genuine focus on quality and the end user are essential.
You will be comfortable working with Microsoft technologies such as Teams and SharePoint, and able to plan and deliver training sessions for colleagues both online and in person. Whether your skills have been built through formal study or hands-on experience, what matters most is creativity, a willingness to learn and a passion for helping staff and students get the best from digital learning. If you are organised, imaginative, and ready to be part of a friendly and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
