Plant & Facility Maintenance Manager

Job Description Plant & Facility Maintenance Manager n Optical Filters are leaders in the design and manufacture of display screen products including EMI-shielded windows, optical laminating, display filters and other specialist glass and polycarbonate screens. n The successful candidate will be looking for an immediate start, initially on a fixed-term contract and with the possibility of a full-time role for the right candidate. n The Role: n n Ensure PPM is carried out in accordance with PPM schedule and maintain records. n Repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. n Management of subcon R&M contractors and ensuring that regular servicing by R&M contractors is carried out on schedule (e.g. gas systems, compressed air system, air con). n Project management of: n n n Upgrades/modifications to existing equipment. n Installation of new equipment n Testing and commissioning of the above n n The Candidate: n n Significant experience in Plant & Facility Management with a commitment to preventative maintenance. n Excellent communication skills to enable effective collaboration with our production team and outside suppliers of parts and specialized services. n Strong electrical skills to maintain the base electrical systems within the building. n High level electro-mechanical skills to trouble shoot control problems with a range of CNC equipment and other computer/plc controlled equipment. n The ability to maintain plant service records and write concise and clear management reports. n A strong motivation to minimize process downtime. n Calm and cool under pressure.
