We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join a leading contractor in Belfast.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil construction projects, including earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, and infrastructure.
Skills and Experience
- 3 years’ experience in civil estimating or a similar construction estimating role.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Experience of work winning and tender submission.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline (preferred).
Valid driver’s licence.
Knowledge of local civil contracts is advantageous.
