Interim Finance Manager

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading international business within the sustainability and recycling sector for an experiencedFinance Manager to join their finance team in Lisburn.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the month-end process, financial reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting business growth in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will:

• Lead the month-end close and prepare management accounts
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments
• Oversee VAT returns, fixed assets and financial controls
• Support audit and statutory reporting requirements
• Produce meaningful financial reports and business insights
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Mentor and support the finance team
• Drive finance process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified with relevant experience)
• Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills with excellent analytical ability
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Highly organised with strong communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI or similar ERP systems is desirable
