Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Kilkeel, who are expanding their team and are looking for a Team Leader

Duties:

To manage a team by ensuring that products manufactured and supplied by the company are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations

• Lead a line of production operatives within the Production department
• Ensure our products are produced to high quality standards
• Working to BRC standards and major retailer requirements
• Troubleshoot Walking the line to identify any issues ahead of them arising and taking appropriate action. Dealing with issues as and when required.
• Ensure that your team are operating within high quality, safety and legality standards
• Work alongside the Production Manager to ensure high quality standards are being achieved.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Food Team Leader
• Minimum 3 years experience within Team Leader Role within a food manufacturing environment
• Ability to demonstrate good manual dexterity
• Evidence of effective communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
• Evidence of good timekeeping and reliability
• Able to manage and motivate a team
• Able to ensure production targets are met
• Able to complete quality paperwork.
