* Rotating shifts– Monday–Thursday 6:00–15:30 & Fridays 6:00–10:00 (with Friday overtime mandatory when required) and an afternoon shift every 3rd week Monday – Thursday 1pm-10:30pm. * Starting hourly rate of £13.50 with the opportunity to rise to £16 with training sign off. * Weekly pay * Permanent role after 12 weeks * Additional training offered on forklift, loading shovel etc with the opportunity of progressing within the Company * Holidays-22 days + bank holidays when permanent increasing to 25 days in length of service * Life assurance when permanent * Company pension scheme * Team building exercises / perks * Free parkingAs a Factory Labourer you could be working across a number of departments where duties vary dependant on the area, however, could include the following;
* Cutting sheets of metal * Weighing and labelling products * Stacking products onto pallets manually * Performing machine checks * Quality checking the products * Forklift operation – training is provided * Working outside on the yard loading scrap metal using JCB shovel * Using overhead crane * Working to and ensure targets/deadlines are met * Adhere to H&S within the workplace * Maintain a clean and tidy working environmentFactory Labourer Person Specification;
