We are seeking to appoint motivated and reliable Cleaners to join the Estates Directorate at Queen’s.
As a Cleaner, you will work as part of a flexible team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the University. Your duties will include cleaning allocated internal and external areas to the required University standards, using appropriate cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials. You will follow agreed training procedures, health and safety guidelines, and University policies at all times.

The successful candidate should clearly demonstrate how they meet the following criteria on their application form:
Essential Criteria:
Recent relevant cleaning experience.
Experience of using cleaning chemicals in the workplace.
Awareness of general Health and Safety requirements.
Flexible with working hours and assist to cover shortages/work in other buildings.
Must be available for early starts (6am-7am).
Must wear protective uniform and clothing.
Desirable Criteria:
At least 2 years recent relevant cleaning experience in a customer facing environment.
Relevant office cleaning experience, ideally within an education environment
Relevant experience of laboratory cleaning.
