Radiology Healthcare Assistant

Grosvenor Hospital – Chester | Radiology | Permanent | Part time

Up to £25,500 Pro Rata Depending On Experience

22.5 hours per week

We are looking for a Radiology Assistant to help us build a healthier nation at our Chester Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Support patients undergoing investigations
• Work alongside Consultant Radiologists
• Assist with booking appointments and reception cover
• Be part of our wider Radiology team, supporting with clinical services as required

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health related subject
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is an advantage, and personal skills, perhaps gained in a customer facing role, are equally important.
• Assist with administrative tasks, so a good level of IT literacy is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrate compassion and understanding
• Be a team player
