About St Andrew’s

Located in Ewerby, 5 miles east of Sleaford. The home is set around an old vicarage, extended to preserve its character. Provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities As a Care Assistant

• Provide the highest level of care in supporting and assisting residents with daily living activities such as personal care, washing, dressing, and eating.
• Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, while supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Complete all daily charts to a high standard, ensuring 90% and above achieved during monthly daily chart audits.
• Maintain 100% current with all mandatory training throughout the year.

Role Requirements As a Care Assistant

• Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
• Reside within 20 minutes of the care home.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• A caring and nurturing attitude.
• A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
• Time management and organisational skills.
