We are looking to recruit a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Secure Care Division within a well-established multidisciplinary team. The post holder will manage a defined caseload, working as an autonomous practitioner to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions using person‑centred approaches.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to support service users’ functional skills, independence and recovery across a range of settings.
- Coordinate care and contribute to integrated care pathways.
- Support the delivery and development of the occupational therapy service by providing supervision and guidance to junior staff and students.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice and contribute to service improvement initiatives, governance and quality assurance.
- Play an active role in leadership activities, including prioritising referrals, promoting effective team working and contributing to the ongoing development of therapeutic services.
