Healthcare Support Worker (Nuclear Medicine)

Position: Health Care Support Worker in the Nuclear Medicine department at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust, South Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Perform non‑clinical duties caring for patients and their relatives to aid the smooth running of the department.
• Carry out housekeeping duties as required.
• Assist with test kit and equipment preparation and radiation contamination monitoring.

Qualifications

• Good general education.
• Experience working in a hospital or care home environment.
• Sympathetic and caring manner.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
