Role Overview
The Clinical Support Worker (CSW) will provide high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and support registered professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team across two community hospitals – Campion Ward in Leamington Rehab and the Nicol Unit.
Responsibilities
Support and assist nurses, doctors and other integrated professionals in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
Assist with the general well-being and comfort of patients, perform personal care duties, and contribute to the smooth running of a busy department through good organisational skills.
Communicate effectively with patients, families and team members, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Ability to work different shift patterns – days, twilights, nights and weekends.
Flexible to work at both Campion Ward and the Nicol Unit.
Previous experience within a health care setting is desirable but not essential; the role is suitable for both career starters and those wishing to develop their career as a support worker.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team.
