Working 18.75 hours per week, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the medical team at Braeburn House. From managing their diaries, planning meetings to updating records, you will be able to turn your hand to any admin related task.
As the Medical Secretary/CPA Coordinator, you will work alongside the Registered Clinicians assisting with confidential paperwork, service users’ records and GP letters. You will liaise with external agencies to obtain up‑to‑date information on service users and GP letters, and take lead in recording their blood test results.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Registered Clinician with letters and general documentation.
- Supporting all meetings chaired by clinical team members as minute taker as requested.
- Receiving and typing, checking, and amending for spelling and grammatical errors, completing within given deadlines.
- Coordinating the whereabouts of the clinical team to support the Lead Admin/PA.
- Booking clinical meetings, including CPA meetings, professional’s meetings either face to face or via Teams, sending invites and minutes as per the request of the chair of the meeting.
- Maintaining clinical records accurately with the support of the clinical team, ensuring all clinical documentation and/or minutes are checked and confirmed by a registered professional.
- IT skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent.
- Aware of mental health service provision and willingness to familiarise yourself with medical terminology, medications, etc.
- Communication and organisational skills.
