Are you a passionate, experienced nurse with a drive to develop others and shape the future workforce? We’re looking for a dynamic Practice Educator to join our team and play a vital role in strengthening clinical skills, improving patient outcomes, and supporting care closer to home. As a Practice Educator, you will design, deliver and evaluate high-quality training programmes for the primary, community and independent contractor workforce, ensuring education aligns with strategic priorities and equips staff to deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programmes to develop clinical skills and professional knowledge across the workforce.
- Assess and support staff competence, ensuring safe, high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Identify learning needs and contribute to training needs analysis and workforce development planning.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to nurses and healthcare support workers.
- Support service improvement and innovation in education and clinical practice.
- Collaborate with senior nurses and stakeholders across primary care, community services, and care homes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and contribute to quality, audit, and policy development.
- Promote patient safety and reduce avoidable admissions by strengthening community-based care.
