About the Role
As a SEN TA, you will provide targeted support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, working both one-to-one and in small groups. You will help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual pupil requirements
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
About You
The ideal SEN TA will have:
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs
- A willingness to learn and develop professionallyExperience working with children is beneficial but not essential
