About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Steel Fabricator to join our heavy plating and engineering workshop. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Steel Fabricator with experience working on heavy plate and structural steel projects within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The successful Steel Fabricator will be involved in fabricating large steel components, reading technical drawings, and assembling heavy steel structures. We are seeking a motivated Steel Fabricator who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Steel Fabricator Responsibilities
- Fabricate heavy plate and structural steel components
- Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
- Mark out, cut, shape, and assemble steel materials
- Use fabrication tools and workshop machinery safely
- Work closely with welders and other workshop staff
- Ensure all fabrication work meets company quality standards
- Support workshop production schedules
Steel Fabricator Requirements
- Previous experience as a Steel Fabricator
- Ability to read detailed engineering drawings
- Experience within heavy engineering or steel fabrication
- Skilled in measuring, marking out, and steel assembly
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
