AMBAC International is seeking a CNC Machinist / Grinder to program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to produce products to customer specifications. In this role, you will work with other departments to ensure smooth workflow, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
To be successful, you should have a minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience with vertical/horizontal mills, grinding, and lathes, as well as programming experience in CAM. You should also have strong shop math skills, work to metric dimensions, and have experience with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems. Additionally, excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years CNC Programming experience with Vertical/Horizontal Mills or ID/OD Grinders
- Minimum 5 years lathe experience; some CNC experience
- Minimum 5 years programming in CAM
- Able to set‑up and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines
- Able to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers and comparators
- Strong shop math skills
- Able to work to metric dimensions
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems
