Looking for a welding role with long-term stability? We’re recruiting an experienced MIG welder fabricator to join a growing engineering manufacturer in North Yorkshire. This is a permanent opportunity offering secure employment, overtime opportunities and the chance to work on the manufacture of specialist machinery used throughout the UK. You’ll join a busy workshop environment where quality workmanship is valued and no two projects are the same.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding mild steel and stainless steel components
• Fabricating and assembling parts from engineering drawings
• Operating fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
• Producing high-quality work to specification
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Working closely with production and engineering teams
• Maintaining a safe and organised work area

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator
• Strong MIG welding experience
• The ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience using fabrication machinery and hand tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Desirable Experience

• TIG welding
• Agricultural machinery, plant, manufacturing or heavy engineering backgrounds
• Welding or fabrication qualifications
• FLT licence
