We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing organisation based on the northern outskirts of Cambridge as they seek to recruit a Finance Assistant to join on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis. This role would be for an initial 9‑month period, with a possibility of an extension of a further 3 months, and can be for between 20–30 hours per week. Within this role, you will report into the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices
- Conducting payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing employee expenses
- Supporting with month end close
- Additional ad‑hoc duties as required
Qualifications
As the successful candidate for this role, you will have previous experience working within a similar Finance Assistant role. It is essential you have experience of using Xero too.
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of accounting procedures and processes
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Proactive and adaptable in your working style
