Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator on a 12‑month Fixed Term Contract. We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering an effective service across multiple accounting departments and using their collaboration skills to make Games Workshop even better.
This varied role will see you working across Cashbook, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control so you’ll be process‑driven, highly adaptable and skilled at prioritising. You will reconcile bank and cash transactions across multiple currencies and legal entities within agreed deadlines, complete bank balance reporting, and process large volumes of invoices accurately across multiple companies worldwide, ensuring Suppliers are paid on time.
You will also accurately post Direct Debits onto the correct Ledger to ensure financial accuracy and collaborate with the wider Accounts Payable Team to manage and complete weekly tasks efficiently. Continuous improvement is important, so you’ll be involved in our Systems Implementation Programme within Credit Control, supporting data analysis and cleansing activities, and assisting local user acceptance testing activities in different locations, escalating issues to meet the Finance department’s requirements.
You must communicate effectively with staff at all levels, be an excellent problem solver with a can‑do attitude, and work both independently and as part of a team. A broad understanding of transactional finance and a drive to improve processes are essential.
