This is an excellent role for someone currently studying ACA or ACCA (or recently qualified AAT) who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive practice environment. Working as part of a collaborative accounts team, you’ll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients while continuing to develop your technical knowledge.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing statutory accounts for a broad range of clients, including owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
- Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax computations.
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
- Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Supporting the preparation of personal tax returns where required.
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on client assignments.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
To be successful, you’ll ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
