About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the Family Help Team within Children’s Services in Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a strengths‑based, child‑focused service supporting children and families to achieve positive outcomes and prevent escalation of need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 12–16 children/families.
• Undertake assessments, intervention work, and care planning in line with statutory requirements.
• Work closely with children and families to provide timely and effective support.
• Progress cases through Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) processes where required.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver coordinated, multi‑agency support.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case records using relevant systems.
• Contribute to improving outcomes for children through relationship‑based social work practice.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within statutory Children’s Services.
• Strong working knowledge of Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) processes.
• Current Social Work England registration and a recognised Social Work qualification.
