Purpose of the role
To source, attract and hire qualified candidates for a variety of roles and levels across the organisation.
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies and programmes that align with the bank’s business goals.
- Identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain talent needs assessment to anticipate hiring needs and maintain a talent pipeline.
- Develop compelling job postings and marketing materials.
- Execute and coordinate sourcing, screening and interviewing to assess candidates, make hiring recommendations and negotiate job offers.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organisation.
- Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost per hire, source of hire) and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with hiring managers, talent sourcing firms and professional organisations to develop a strong talent pipeline.

Job Title: Wealth Management Business Hiring Lead
In this role, you will bring clarity and direction to hiring activity, shaping the overall approach and ensuring delivery stays aligned to growth plans and timelines. You will act as the central point of accountability for hiring outcomes, working closely with colleagues across the Business, HR, Resourcing, Academy and Training to keep everything connected and moving forward. You will keep a close view of pipeline health, intake planning and hiring data, ensuring activity meets regulatory and governance expectations. By identifying risks early and coordinating closely with learning and induction capacity, you will help create a smooth path from hiring through to productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end, large‑scale hiring programmes within a regulated financial services environment.
- Own a hiring delivery plan, including timelines, dependencies, risks and coordination across multiple workstreams and partner teams.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across Business, HR/Resourcing and learning functions to build alignment and support clear decision‑making.
- Oversee pipeline health, intake planning and MI reporting, using data to track progress, highlight constraints and inform next steps.
- Operate within a risk and control environment, ensuring hiring activity aligns with regulatory expectations, policies and governance standards.
- Identify delivery risks early and put practical actions in place to maintain progress and protect outcomes.
