About the Role

Salary: Grade 7, Point 8-14: £26,824 – £29,540 per annum (subject to experience)*

Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

*The salary quoted reflects the annual salary for the position at the time of advertising. Payment will be made in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment, and again if employment ends partway through the school year, to ensure the correct salary is paid for work completed during the academic year.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional Site Technician to join the team at Shaftesbury School and support the delivery of Estates/Facilities provision. In this varied, hands‑on role, you will be responsible for site security, maintenance, compliance checks, basic repairs, grounds upkeep and supporting the day‑to‑day operation of school premises. No two days are the same – from carrying out DIY repairs and safety inspections to supporting contractors and ensuring our facilities provide a safe, welcoming environment for staff and students.
