Facilities Assistant (Catering)
Location: Hamilton Town House, Cadzow Street, Hamilton
Hours: 21 hours per week
Work Pattern: To be confirmed
Hourly Rate: £14.12 – £14.27 per hour
Duration: Fixed Term until 31 March 2027
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Assistant (Catering) to join their team at the Hamilton Town House. This is a varied and hands‑on role supporting our food and beverage operations across the venue, including weddings, functions, meetings and theatre bar service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard.
- Provide comprehensive catering service for weddings, private functions and corporate meetings.
- Operate and assist with the running of our theatre bars.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene, health and safety.
- Support other team members as required to ensure smooth operation of the venue.
Qualifications
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is essential.
- Valid REHIS qualification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Overseas Criminal Records Check
