Job Description:

The post of full‑time Team Administrator is required in the Mental Health Liaison Service (MHLS).

This role is part of the Urgent Care Team for Mental Health Services in Bolton and is based at the Royal Bolton Hospital for Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The team is the first port of call for service users attending the A&E department who are in mental health crisis and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with consultants, psychologists, mental health practitioners, healthcare support workers and a small admin team.

The Team Administrator will work alongside the Senior Medical Administrator to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the clinical teams within the MHLS, Bolton Directorate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform general office duties.
  • Answer and manage calls from service users, carers, relatives, and other health and social care professionals.
  • Enter new referrals and process completed referrals/assessments into the Electronic Patient Record System, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
