A Day in the Life of a Learning Disability Support Worker
As a Learning Disability Support Worker, no two days are alike – each day is tailored to the unique needs of the individuals we support. We focus on person‑centred planning, delivering positive outcomes and celebrating the small milestones in each person’s journey. Through comprehensive training you will provide a wide range of assistance, including personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence and confidence, and nurturing positive relationships through effective communication.
A full UK driving licence is essential. You will transport residents in disability‑adapted vehicles to appointments, social outings and other activities. Safe and compassionate driving is a key part of delivering high‑quality care and support.

- Maintain effective communication and nurture positive relationships.
- Transport residents safely in disability‑adapted vehicles, ensuring safe and compassionate driving.

Our Employee Benefits
