StrongGuard Security UK is seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Bid & Tender Coordinator to support our growing commercial team.
This role is ideal for an individual with experience supporting successful tender and bid submissions who can assist with identifying opportunities, coordinating tender responses and managing submission requirements. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping StrongGuard Security UK secure new business opportunities through public and private sector procurement processes.
This is a flexible position with hours worked as required to support tender submissions, framework opportunities and commercial growth activities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and monitor public and private sector tender opportunities.
- Support the preparation, coordination and submission of tender responses.
- Review tender documentation and identify submission requirements.
- Gather and collate supporting evidence, policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
- Assist in drafting and formatting tender responses.
- Coordinate information from operational, commercial and management teams.
- Manage tender submission deadlines and ensure all requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain records of tender opportunities, submissions and outcomes.
- Support framework applications, supplier questionnaires and pre‑qualification submissions.
- Maintain a library of bid content, supporting evidence and company information.
- Monitor procurement portals and identify relevant opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to the Commercial Director regarding tender activity and opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience supporting the preparation and submission of public and private sector tenders.
- A proven track record of supporting successful tender, framework or bid submissions is essential.
- Experience working with procurement portals and tender management systems.
- Experience gathering compliance, quality, social value and supporting evidence for tender submissions.
- Experience within the security, facilities management, construction or service sectors is advantageous.
- Experience working to strict deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade 4/C or above), or equivalent.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, procurement, bid management or a related discipline are advantageous but not essential.
