Learning Support Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Take a proactive role in support of the educational, social and physical needs of pupils.
• Support the curriculum and the school by providing high‑level assistance to teachers in the practical organisation of class activities, undertaking group work and ensuring the welfare and development of pupils.
• Meet the needs of pupils with specific special educational needs, within an ARB or a mainstream setting.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) application. Additional pre‑employment checks include receipt of two satisfactory references, evidence of right to work in the UK, proof of relevant qualifications and completion of a health assessment questionnaire.
