Purpose ofJob:
You will use awhole family approach for supporting children and families at The Vine, workingwith them on an individual basis in school and within the community. You willcomplete Early Help Assessments (EHA’s) and be Lead Professional for thefamily. As Lead Professional you will work in partnership with a multi- agencyteam around the family to provide tailored targeted intervention that enablesfamilies to achieve positive outcomes.

- A good knowledge and understandingof child development, signs of abuse and neglect, and of child protectionlegislations, policies and procedures.
- A good knowledge and understandingof the importance of school attendance and access to education.
- A good knowledge and understandingof how to conduct assessments and create plans for support that promotepositive outcomes.
- A good knowledge and understandingof providing direct support to vulnerable families and of evidence-basedprogrammes.
- Strong communication skills using avariety of formats and will work efficiently within a multi- agencyenvironment.
- The ability to produce, keep andmaintain good case recording, reports and assessments.
- Willingness to support a familywithin their home setting (if appropriate).
- Willingness to support the mostvulnerable pupils.
