Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in ensuring that the Inn feels like a home away from home for guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the team, manage daily operations, and create a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in meeting company standards and guest expectations.
- Lead and manage the team to deliver excellent service in a fast‑paced environment.
- Oversee shift operations, conduct administrative tasks, and liaise with chefs, management, and suppliers.
- Perform stocktake and ordering, manage accounts, and address guest responses.
- Be available for occasional overnight stays and guest issues.
- Mentor and inspire team members to achieve impactful results.
Qualifications
- Strong background in food and hospitality.
- Passion for customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Leadership ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Hands‑on, approachable style with willingness to lead by example.
- Experience in managing day‑to‑day operations in a busy setting.
