Additional Support Worker, Wigan

Position

Additional Support Worker – Wigan (Flexible shift pattern). Salary £13.01 per hour.

About the Role

We support people with autism in various settings including Supported Living, Resource Centres and Outreach. You will develop person‑centred support plans and encourage independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in daily living activities.
• Encourage participation in community activities such as local walks, trips to the park, swimming and cinema outings.
• Assist with voluntary work and other activities arranged in the support plan.
• Maintain and update person‑centred support plans.

Qualifications / Experience

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Patient, caring, and supportive attitude.
• Passion for learning new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible in working hours.
