Bio Medical Support Worker

The Haematology Department currently has a vacancy for one Biomedical Support Worker to work during our busy evening period. This is a very busy time for the Department and the successful applicant should be able to work under pressure and have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Biomedical Scientist staff in sample reception.
• Assist Biomedical Scientist staff in sample preparation.

Qualifications

• Minimum scientific qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2.
• Previous experience working in a hospital laboratory environment.
• IBMS Accredited Biomedical Science Degree Students will also be considered for interview.
