An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trusts Access Team to appoint full time 18 Week Pathway Coordinators. You will work closely with the Trust Access and Data Quality teams to assist in improving the quality of data associated with the recording of 18-week Referral to Treatment (RTT) rules and reporting errors or issues via defined escalation routes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Trust in providing complete, accurate, timely and appropriate data and information for 18-week mandatory returns within national and local timescales.
- Assist in improving the quality of data associated with RTT by developing expert knowledge of RTT rules and providing training and support to operational teams, ensuring best practice is applied consistently and common errors are identified and addressed.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely data entry and validation of Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways in accordance with both national and local 18 week rules.
- Undertake systematic review of Patient Tracking Lists (PTLs), focusing on patients approaching or exceeding 18 weeks, and follow up as required.
- Ensure all new admissions to waiting lists have been assigned an accurate RTT status within the appropriate timeframe.
