Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Salary: £13,545 to £13,879 per annum. Plus generous benefits, including:

  • 45 days annual leave per year pro rata (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

About the role

The main purpose of the role is to secure and arrange meaningful high‑quality work placements for students predominantly studying a T Level qualification. A substantial amount of time will be spent working with employers to secure placements by speaking with them by phone or email, providing them with information, advice and guidance to ensure the placement is suitable. Throughout the process the successful candidate will complete accompanying administration and record keeping.

The successful candidate will liaise with curriculum teams, industry leads, employers, student support teams and parents/carers to ensure a high‑quality experience for students and contribute to their overall qualification achievement.

The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, both within the college and with external stakeholders. A commitment to supporting students is essential to ensuring that every student has access to high‑quality placement opportunities and a clear understanding of the benefits for both employers and the students. The candidate will maintain and enhance partnerships with existing employers, identify and foster new partnerships, and build strong links with curriculum areas and staff.
